Q. Is there a membership fee?

Q. How much do I have to invest to start?
A. Starting a business from scratch would cost you thousands of dollars. Scent-Sations offers a start-up package for $39.95. This package includes a 16oz. Jar Candle, 12 pack of votives, and a Gourmet Cleansing Bar, all in our most popular scent. They also offer two other packages that will save you even more money. They offer them below the wholesale price because they know what it takes to get a business started. You can choose what's best for you. View the getting started packages here.
Q. What do I have to do to remain an active distributor?
A. To remain active, you only have to sell one Candle of the Month Package per month. This package includes one 16oz. Jar Candle, one 12 pack of votives, and one Cleansing Bar. The jar and votives come in our newest scent (we come out with a new one each month.) You pay just $39.95 for the package and can turn around and sell it right away for over $60. Many of our distributors, however, have chosen to keep the package for themselves or use the products for marketing purposes. For example, you may use the products to demo and give to fundraising organizations. But, again, you may choose what's best for you and your business.

Q. What are the Shipping Charges?
A. Shipping depends on your location, weight of your package, and the type of delivery you choose. We offer many options for shipping so that you can choose the best for your customers.
Q. Can I Sell these Candles on Ebay?
A. You may not sell any of our products through any other site but the one set up for you. This is to protect our distributors from price differences. Any of our products listed on Ebay are being sold by former distributors who, for one reason or another, have decided to retire. As a distributor, you will be given an online retail storefront that you may link to from your own site or a site you wish to advertise on. View mine here.
Q. How Much Money Can I Make Selling These Candles?
A. I know that most of you asking this question are wanting to join for financial reasons. Maybe you want to quit the job you have right now or you just want some extra spending money. This answer is largely up to you. Every person is different and therefore will make different choices regarding their business. Some people will choose to focus on retailing the products, some will choose to organize fundraisers, and others will choose to set up wholesale accounts. There are also those who will do absolutely nothing to build their business. Those who are doing this business full-time and making the most money have spent no less than 2 years working hard to build their business.
It takes work, just like any job. But, the difference is that you control the outcome (largely) and you are given the flexibility to run it the way you want and choose your own hours. My goal is to have loyal fundraising groups within 2 years that will be almost on "autopilot." This will give me more time to focus on other areas of my business and have time to home-school my little girl who is now 3 years old. Once she is school age, I will need to take more time away from my business and focus on her schooling.

Q. But, I don't know How to Build a Business. What do I do?
A. This is the beauty of being on a TEAM! I love helping others build businesses of their own. I love it even more when they are more experienced than I am! We share ideas and help each other in any way we can. I will always be here to take your calls and answer any questions you may have. I have many great home business resources that I will readily share with you.
The company itself also has many training resources. Although they emphasize building a team, since they are an MLM company, I don't recommend getting into that right away. Team building will come to you if you build your business right. Those who are interested in joining you will come to you. You should not have to buy leads or spend a ton of money on "recruiting."
The only things you need to build a home business are quality products and/or services, the desire to build a successful home business, a professional "look" to show people that you "mean business," and targeted advertising.
